START YOUR ADVENTURE & FUN HERE! We have made it very easy for you to get a brief description of the Mammoth Cave tours offered at Mammoth Cave National Park and then book your tour online. Remember all Mammoth Cave tour times are CST (local prevailing time) and that the cave is a constant 57 degrees year round, so please dress accordingly.

Ranger-led activities are offered daily, except Christmas Day. Join rangers for trips in the cave and on the surface, ranging from 1 ¼ hours to 6 ½ hours. Designed with all visitors in mind, you’ll find activities suiting a wide variety of needs and interests including cave trips, nature walks, campfire programs, and slide presentations. Most Mammoth Cave tours are designed for a mixed audience. Some are easy, others are strenuous, several are designed exclusively for children, and one is designed for people seeking a wild cave adventure off the beaten path. All Mammoth Cave tours begin and end at the Visitor Center. Children under six are admitted free.

Please note that Mammoth Cave National Park offers a number of guided Mammoth Cave tours, both on the surface and underground. Demand is high for these popular activities – tours can, and do, sell out. You may reserve Mammoth Cave tickets in advance for Mammoth Cave tours by booking online or calling the National Park Reservation Service at 1-888-448-1474. Campground reservations are also now available through this service.

A new $5 student rate applies to educational groups, K-college, for Historic, Gothic Avenue, and River Styx cave tours, effective January 1, 2007.  The new rate also applies To teachers and chaperones accompanying an educational group.
