The Cave City Farmers Market grand opening was held on July 20th.  The event was a great community success that brought together local farmers and their Kentucky fresh products to a centrally located community market.  The new facility is located on the grounds of the Cave City Convention Center.  Cave City Mayor Bob Hunt, Agriculture Commissioner Billy Ray Smith, Senator Richie Sanders and State Representative Dottie Sims were featured speakers at the dedication ceremony.

Mayor Hunt expressed his gratitude to Senator Sanders, Representative Sims and Commissioner Smith on behalf of the Cave City community for their continued support of the new project.
